Fired Up is a lively, colourful, and friendly pottery studio. We make ceramics from scratch, casting the clay, firing it in the kiln, and carefully hand painting each item, before a final firing in the kiln.
We offer hand-cast items that you can paint yourself. Once you’re happy with your creation, we’ll fire it in the kiln. Finished items are usually ready for collection within a week, however during busy periods it may be longer.
Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9.45am-12.15pm, for our hobby class. They’re great value at just £5 adults/£4 children (plus the price of any items you make). Glazed products will be available to collect approximately two weeks after the class.
If you’re involved in a school or children’s community group like parent and toddler, Brownies, or Cubs, how about booking a session at our studio? We have special rates for large groups and can advise you on specific designs and ideas that will work for your group and your budget.
Parties and team-building
For all kinds of parties or team-building days, we offer a fun and imaginative activity. Our parties and team-building activities can be adapted for individual groups, from children’s birthdays to corporate away days.
We have a range of products to cater for individual parties. We advise the party organiser to visit and select from our range prior to booking.
Our party packages include expert tuition, all paints, glaze, and firing. You’re welcome to bring your own refreshments/snacks, or we can provide for an additional £1 per person.
Children’s party packages
We have two party packages to choose from:
- Package A £10 per child (min 12 children)
- Package B £14 per child (min 12 children)
Plus party hire charge of £30 for 1.5 hours. Available Monday-Friday, 4-6pm (this includes a 30 minute set up/clear away time). Items will be available for collection approximately two weeks after the party.

If you want to try your hand at ceramic painting, our open days are the perfect opportunity. You can come on your own or with the whole family.
Open days include demonstrations, so you can watch the entire process from start to finish and get your own ideas.
If there’s something else you’d like to paint, for example to make a personalised gift or a child’s handprints, or if there’s a specific time you’d like to visit, get in touch and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
